JCGL volunteers have been collecting information on pioneers and early settlers of the Rogue Valley for more than ten years. This is both to honor these early residents and to provide a valuable resource for researchers. These files vary in size from a single sheet to tens of pages of information. Much of the information was donated by individuals, other libraries, and historical societies in the region. The table below contains our list of pioneer surnames, along with the number of pages in our file for each of those names.
If you would like a copy of a particular file, our fee based on the size of the file, is $10 for up to and including five pages plus $0.25 for each additional page. Please follow the link below to display the request form. Complete the form, print it, and mail it to us along with your check for the requested amount payable to the Rogue Valley Genealogical Society
. A copy of the requested file will be mailed to you.
Postal Request Form
If the file you are requesting is 25 pages or fewer, the turnaround time will be faster if use the online form below to make a secure payment of the requested amount. Provide the surname in the appropriate edit field of the form and our librarian will scan the requested pages. The resulting file(s) will be attached to an email message. When you receive the message, click on an attached file and it will be loaded into the necessary software so that you can print a hard copy. If the file you would like to receive contains more than 25 pages, you must use the postal request form above.
