Call to Order President Anne Billeter called the meeting to order at 1:32 pm. A quorum was declared with 18  members present and 5 on zoom for a total of 23. The meeting was in person and via Zoom.

Approval of October Minutes Ruth Wade moved to approve the November 2024 minutes as presented. Jeanne Hoadley seconded. Motion carried.

Installation of Officers Ruth Wade installed the following Directors:  Ann Baracker, Volunteer Director; Jeanne Hoadley, Education Director; Kim Thurman, Past-President; Loretta Barker, Membership Director; Rich Miles, Technology and Data Management Director.

Member Sharing Anne Billeter shared she received a call from someone in the community who found a Girl Scout handbook belonging to a young girl of Tenderfoot rank in Iowa and wanted to reunite it with her family. Anne’s genealogy research made that possible. Mary Robsman is working on the Colleen Eccleston Collection and its vast wealth of information. The collection is currently being digitized by Mary, Mary Tsui and Ann Baracker. Ros Lyne and Cheryl Haas are assisting with scanning. Kim Thurman shared that she, Jeanne Hoadley and Cathy Ullrich will be participating in the Rogue Valley Manor’s “Genealogy Roadshow” day.
 
Jeanne Hoadley presented an excellent program on the New England Historical and Genealogy Society’s “Million Names Project”, whose goal is to recover the names of African enslaved people.
