Member Meeting Minutes
Call to Order - President Frank Marksman called the meeting to order at 1:30 pm. Fourteen people were present, with 10 joining on Zoom for a total of 24.
Approval of Minutes - Ruth Wade moved to approve the minutes of the November 2025 Membership meeting. Patt Herdklotz seconded. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report – Treasurer Valerie Sanders reviewed the highlights of the Society’s income and expenses in the past month. There were no questions. See the report on the bulletin board.
Installation of Appointed Directors 2026 – Ruth Wade installed the Board Directors as follows: Technology and Data Management, Rich Miles; Education, Jeanne Hoadley; Membership, Loretta Barker; Volunteer, Ann Baracker; Past President, Kim Thurman; Library, Anne Billeter.
Bylaws Update - Kim Thurman presented a proposed change to the Bylaws regarding the frequency of the library collection inventory being moved to the Standing Rules. The members have one month to review the proposal. The vote will be held during the February Member meeting.

Member Sharing –
- Rich Miles shared that Donorsnap, our new management software, may have a steep learning curve. We have received donations to cover Donorsnap’s cost for the first two years.
- Kim Thurman reported locating a Civil War Deposition with the last name of Miles. Further research showed that this person is a cousin of Rich Miles.
- Anne Billeter informed us that the new RVGS flags were obtained by Dennis Stevens.
- Jeanne updated the education offerings.
Business Meeting Adjourned - Frank Marksman adjourned the business meeting at 1:49 pm.
PROGRAM – Anne Billeter presented a program on solving a signature quilt mystery.
