Directors’ Summary Reports

1. Education Committee: Barbara Halvorsen & Pat Jenkins – Genealogy Week is being planned for September 17-23. Various classes during the year are now being recorded (with speaker permission) and offered online to paid attendees to watch on-demand. A committee is in the planning stages for a special September program to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our library’s current location.
2. Finance: No report
3. Membership: Margaret Clark-Mayfield – Total membership stands at 671 individuals.
4. Technology & Data Management: Rich Miles – Indexes for funeral records and Josephine County Obituaries, formerly on our old website, are in the process of being uploaded to our current website.
5. Library: Anne Billeter – Library was open 25 days/75 hours in May. Total librarian hours worked was 175. Average patron attendance at the library is just under 2 per day.

Next Board Meeting: Monday, August 8, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. at the library. Members welcome.
Next Program & Member Meeting: Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.  
Upcoming Classes and programs: Online pre-registration is required at www.rvgslibrary.org to receive a Zoom link the day before the event.
