UPDATE TO MASK POLICY AT JACKSON COUNTY GENEALOGY LIBRARY
ANNOUNCEMENT: UPDATE TO MASK POLICY AT JACKSON COUNTY GENEALOGY LIBRARY
I am sure you are likely already aware that Jackson County is experiencing a significant increase in new cases of COVID-19 and hospitalizations, primarily due to the highly transmissible Delta variant. Last week the CDC, Oregon Health Authority, and Jackson County Public Health all issued statements recommending use of masks in indoor locations, regardless of vaccination status, in order to assist with lowering transmission rates.
In order to ensure the safety of our members and volunteers, masks will now be required inside the Jackson County Genealogy Library, effective immediately. Any updates to the status of the library's operating hours and use requirements are always posted to our website (www.rvgslibrary.org) and our social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Please be sure to check one of them in advance of visiting us to get the most current information.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I thank you in advance for your support regarding this change.
