The RVGS Library has added several new journal issues covering a wide range of genealogy and history topics. Highlights include the nineteenth century in NGS Magazine, with articles on epidemics, occupations, synagogue records, Civil War prisoners, DNA results, and Boolean searching; new family case studies in NGSQ; New York War of 1812 claims, Civil War pensions, and Cayuga County research in New York Researcher; extensive Virginia records in Magazine of Virginia Genealogy; and Oregon-focused articles in Oregon Historical Quarterly, including the Alien Enemies Act, Oregon’s Sanctuary Law, two Oregon senators, and the Petros G. Pelos collection.
