Kim Thurman noted how blessed we are to have such generous members. Judy Ryden asked if we are a non=profit and asked if there are restrictions on how we spend this money. Kim Thurman noted the many projects that we have waiting for funds, the HVAC in the meeting room needs to be replaced and we need a new server. We also have submitted a grant for hybrid equipment for our meeting room. This grant requires that we need to pay one-half of the cost of this equipment. Pat Jenkins asked if in-kind contributions work for the matching funds. Kim Thurman will check this out. Rich’s hours will count.

Their stories of discovering genealogy were varied and extremely interesting. They provided us with an insight to each of their genealogy journey. Barbara thanked them for being brave enough to share their stories with us. Kim Thurman also thanked them; you just never know what might light the spark to search for ancestors. Kim reminded everyone that next month’s program will be about cemetery superstitions. Our speaker is connected to Billion Graves.
