President Anne Billeter announced the resignation of Treasurer Laurie Gallo.  Through a board email vote, Kim Thurman has been approved as Interim Treasurer.  She also stated we are actively recruiting for a new Treasurer.  She asked if a member is comfortable with PC and QuickBooks to please contact a Board member.

Treasurer’s Report:  Kim Thurman presented the Treasurer’s report.
Total Income:                          $ 2766.40
Total Expense                         $ 4,989.52

Net Income                              $-2208.23

Board Action:  Anne Billeter shared that the City of Phoenix has annexed our location into the City.  This does not affect our mailing address as this is regulated through the US Postal System.  Our monthly fees will increase due to the addition of City fees through our water bill as  Charlotte Ann Water district closed.

Our Annual Fund Drive will begin June 1;  the annual fund drive raises about a third of our annual income, dues only raise approximately a third, and the other third comes from other services such as research, classes, etc.

Anne also announced upcoming classes and the Open House event on July 20th.  The Bicentennial Quilt will be raffled on June 25th.

The June 18th Member Meeting will present:  “Planning for the Future: the Member Survey Results and More”.

A wonderful presentation was given by Carolyn Kingsnorth on the  “The Jews of Pioneer Jacksonville”.
Adjourned Anne Billeter adjourned the meeting at 2:33pm.

Respectfully submitted,
Katie Haugse for Secretary Cathy Ullrich
